My Home Screen

It’s still early days On my journey of using the iPad as my main device. Which means my current uses consist primarily of writing, reading, watching entertainment, and the occasional puzzle game. So I thought it may be worth me posting my current Home Screen, and then possibly watching it evolve.

Widgets

On the Home Screen, I currently have 6 widgets, all pretty much self-explanatory. (Going from top-left, down each column):

  • Apple News - Top Stories: Just to have the occasional glimpse of what’s happening in the world.
  • NetNewsWire - An attempt at not missing out on anything I would be interested in reading.
  • Ivory - Same as NetNewsWire, but my Mastodon following list is pretty manageable, so I may remove this.
  • Perplexity - My favourite way of asking questions at the moment.
  • Ulysses - A shortcut to writing for this blog.
  • Spotify - This shows recently played, which I expect will be my Paramore playlist 90% of the time.
